Made in PA Supplier Forum: DARPA (Defense Advance Research Projects Agency)
For sixty years, DARPA has held to a singular and enduring mission: to make pivotal investments in breakthrough technologies for national security. DARPA’s investment strategy begins with a portfolio approach. Reaching for outsized impact means taking on risk, and high risk in pursuit of high payoff is a hallmark of DARPA’s programs.
DARPA is committed to small businesses. DARPA knows ideas that lead to breakthrough technologies for national security often start small. To maximize the pool of innovative proposal concepts it receives, DARPA strongly encourages participation by all capable sources: industry, academia, and individuals.
During this session, Deputy Director, Dr. Peter Highnam will present DARPA’s technology and research priorities. He’ll discuss how to navigate the application process and the opportunities that exist for Pittsburgh area companies.
We encourage member companies of all sizes to attend this session to learn about the diverse opportunities that are available to you.
