Three Rivers Educational Technology Conference (TRETC) 2018 is the best opportunity all year for teachers, K-12 administrators, industry experts and higher education decision makers in the Pittsburgh region. TRETC allows you to network with peers and choose from over 50 professional development sessions to enhance your classroom teaching abilities. The theme for TRETC 2018 is, “Technology & the Future of Work.”

Last year, we saw this event grow to over 600 attendees, 40 ed-tech companies, and 50 professional development sessions. This is a great opportunity to meet with educational professionals from over 100 school districts across Western PA, Eastern OH, and Northern WV.
Each of the presentation breakout sessions will focus on one of the following areas:
New partnerships between K-12 schools, business, and/or non-profits
Strategies to prepare students for an evolving workforce
Best practices for teaching students in the 21st century
Techniques to globalize and prepare your students for the future of work
Emerging Technologies for 21st Century Work
Real world learning for educators and learners in the workplace

This year, we are pleased to announced Michael T. Moe as this year’s Keynote Speaker during our opening session!
In addition to leading one of the Silicon Valley’s most well-known investment firms (GSV Capital), Michael also co-founded the ASU GSV Summit. Cohosted with the Arizona State University, the summit brings together more than 4,000 leaders from across the world’s learning and talent spectrum and is one of the nation’s top gatherings of educators, entrepreneurs and investors.
Having recently authored “The Global Silicon Valley,” which describes the hottest start-up scenes from around the globe, Mr. Moe has strong ties to the Pittsburgh region and has been a critical advocate for Pittsburgh based start-ups. He speaks on a broad range of topics including the future of work, and the impact of artificial intelligence on human resources and the implications for the nation’s learning ecosystem.
