The Pittsburgh Technology Leaders Group explores the topic of Employee Engagement and Retention.
Topic/ Purpose of Meeting:
This session will equip leaders to increase employee engagement and retention by learning and applying best practices contained within the Serving Leader ModelSM – a practical framework developed by the Newton Institute based on the principles in Dr. John Stahl-Wert’s best-selling book, The Serving Leader.
We’ll explore what it means to build a flourishing, high-performance culture and complete hands-on work to address one of the most important aspects of employee engagement: How to make sure every person’s role/assignment aligns with their strengths – what they are both good at and passionate about.

o Developing awareness around team members’ unique design and strengths.
o How to use strengths insights to build high-functioning teams
* Group Work:
o Create an action plan for identifying your team’s strengths.
o How to plan for more effective one-on-one conversations.
8:30 – 8:50 – Round Table Discussion and Q&A
8:50 – 9:00 – Collect topics to use for future meetings
