The Pittsburgh Technology Council is pleased to present David Bonvenuto, President and CEO of Oberg Industries Inc. Mr. Bonvenuto will discuss how Oberg is applying technology innovation and how their workforce development initiatives are developing a highly skilled manufacturing workforce that is enabling them to add capabilities, capacity, and new products.
David joined Oberg in 2001 and was promoted to his current position in 2013. Previously, he held executive positions at Wabtec, MotivePower Industries, and OnlineChoice.com. Additionally, he is also on the Board of Directors of Catalyst Connection.
Oberg, founded in 1948, has a long history of creating and applying technology and process innovations that have made a positive impact on the manufacturing community. It’s a privately held corporation with over 750 employees and annual sales of $125 million with a primary focus on the medical device, energy, aerospace, housing & construction, and metal packaging end markets. Oberg manufactures precision metal components, tooling and stamping assemblies.
