The Pittsburgh Technology Council is pleased to present Kurt C. Bergman, CEO of Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, planning, and development, with more than 6,000 employees in 90 offices worldwide, and more than $1 billion in annual revenue.
This past year, Pittsburgh-based Michael Baker International was recognized as the sixth-largest privately held company in the region and was ranked as one of the region’s Top 100 fastest-growing companies. Michael Baker has been solving complex infrastructure challenges around the world since 1940 with its legacy of expertise, experience, innovation and integrity.
Appointed in October of 2013, Mr. Bergman is leading the company’s drive to achieve a culture of excellence across its markets and practice areas worldwide. He will discuss the company’s full-continuum-solutions approach to making communities safer, more environmentally sustainable, and more livable. He also will discuss current infrastructure rehabilitation projects, community and environmental initiatives, and efforts to foster and support innovation development and an entrepreneurial spirit among the company’s diverse team of professionals.
